Il ne s'est rien passé, si ce n'est que je commençai à avoir de drôles de battements...

Nothing happened. Then : heartbeat...

Nichts geschah. Doch dann : Herzschlagen...

Il me regarda pendant quelques minutes comme s'il avait quelque chose d'important à me dire...

He was staring at me for minutes, as if he wanted to tell me something very important...

Er schaute mich für einige Minuten an, als hätte er mir etwas wichtiges mitzuteilen...
